Original and only edition of these two sermons against unbelievers and heretics, in defence of the holy Roman-Catholic church by Fabian Birkowsky (Léopol 1566 - Krakow 1636), a famous Dominican priest, philosopher and professor of Theology in Krakow who had a very extensive influence on religious and spiritual life in Poland. Collections of his important sermons have been printed in successively 1620, 1624, 1628 and - the present collection of sermons - in 1632. Some occasional soiling and a few annotations. Good copy of this very rare Polish book.
