First edition of an interesting account by Dobell of his travels to Kamtchatka and Siberia. Peter Dobell was the counsellor of the court of the Emperor of Russia, Alexander, and travelled from Kamchatka to the Ural Mountains in August-November 1812. Dobell comments on the peoples of Siberia, the natural resources and the road that serves as the connection between the East and West limits of the Empire. Good set.
