A scarce Mennonite catechism, in the form of 50 questions and answers. The Dutch Mennonites were the first Anabaptist group known to use catechisms and produced over 140 different versions between 1633 and 1950, with the result that none of them became universally accepted or dominant.
Very good copy, with ink inscriptions dividing the book into 19 'lessons.' In very good condition. The wrappers frayed at the spine, but otherwise very good. A scarce Dutch Mennonite catechism.
