Dutch instruction book on writing, for use in schools both as a guide for the teacher and for students. Beijer taught Dutch in Delft and after publishing his Handleiding tot den Nederlandschen Stijl in 1820, he received many requests for an abridged edition for use in schools. The book is divided into four parts discussing topics like rhetoric (part 1), grammar (part 2) and style (part 3-4).
Very good copy. Spine slightly damaged. Instructions on writing for students in the beginning of the nineteenth century.
