With a fine pen drawing in brown ink of a large armillary sphere as half-title, with hatched shadows; a very beautiful watercolour frontispiece, highlighted with gold, with an armillary globe at the top and a terrestrial globe at the bottom, both flanked by branches with grapes; and with marine and landscape views on either side of a blank central space intended for the title; and 21 fine pen drawings in text showing a globe, the movement of comets, eclipses, a compass rose, the refraction of light, etc. Written in brown ink in a regular and quite readable student's hand.
