First edition of Clusius's translation of Acosta's Tratado de las drogas y medicinas de las indias orientales... , published in Burgos in 1578. Clusius added some important material on plants never described before like: "De Pavate," "De Moringa," "De Mangas," De Ananas Silvestre," "De Herba Biva." He rejected most of the original woodcuts as being too clumsy and inaccurate for identification purposes. Some slight foxing, otherwise a good copy.
