BMC NH, p. 975; Nissen, ZBI 2177.
A complete set of this classic on American spiders, one of the rarest entomological works. It may be considered as one of the finest iconographies on the Arachnids. The last two volumes were edited after the author's death in 1889 by G. Marx, who was responsible for most of part 4, Brasilianische Spinnen . Some occasional browning, but a very good copy with all original wrappers present. Not in any of the standard "Americana" bibliographies.
