Official publication of the so-called Departement van de Rijn (Gelderland and Utrecht) concerning the medical exams that were going to be implemented in the region. As a result, some (incapable) physicians, apothecaries and surgeons left the cities and settled themselves in rural areas or smaller towns, to avoid these exams. The present publication prohibits these "quacks" to sell any of their goods or services and prohibits newspapers to advertise for any of these goods.
