The Pharmacopoea Amstelodamensis first appeared in 1636 on the initiative of the well-known professor Nicolaes Tulp.
With a handwritten note on the first fly-leaf stating that the book was a gift of F.E. Willet, one of the Inspectors of the Collegium Medicum of Amsterdam, to J.M. Verhoeven. Good copy, with an interesting provenance. Daems & Vandewiele, pp. 46, 60; Bierman, 3608.
