The Anglo-Irish diplomat and colonial administrator Sir Walter Francis Hely-Hutchinson (1849-1913) served as Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Natal and Zululand (1893 to 1901) and as Governor of the Cape Colony (1901 ff.).
