One of the later editions of the Laudi redaction and translation of the Aesop fables in Italian prose augmented with many fables by others, to a total of 400, only 40 of which are here illustrated with rather primitive woodcuts in a frame, inspired by the original woodcuts for the first Landi editions of 1581 and 1585. Each fable is followed by a Sentenza della favole.
