Rare first edition of the translation in Spanish (Catalan) from the Latin original, the first official Pharmacopoeia Matritensis by the Collegio de Farmaceuticos, published in 1739. Only in the 18th century , during the reign of the Bourbons, did all the Spanish pharmacopoeias unify into a single pharmacopoeia common to the whole of the Kingdom of Spain, with the publication, in 1794 , of the Pharmacopoea Hispana.
A little worn around the edges, otherwise in good condition. WorldCat (6 copies); not in Wellcome.
