Classic work on freemasonry, published in the same year as the first edition, detailing the history and the rituals of the freemasons, concluded by the text and music of several songs. The illustrations include folding plans of a freemasonry lodge and 5 plates with engraved music. The work was first published in 1745 and remained popular throughout the 18th century. According to Wolfstieg, the present edition was published by Jean Neaulme. Re-backed with the original spine laid down. Good copy.
