First and only edition of a pharmaceutical work by Matthias Franciscus Hertodt (1647-1714). This book aims to give quick and simple remedies to some common diseases, and is intended for use on travels or in secluded areas; most diseases described are easily and cheaply cured by remedies from a general pharmacy. Also included are some more invasive therapies as bleeding and purging by laxatives, vomiting and sweating.
