Rare first and only edition of a Portuguese pharmacopoeia by António Rodrigues Portugal (1738-1788?), a surgeon from the city of Porto, who also translated Pharmacopea Meadiana by Ricardo Mead, published in 1768, from Latin to Portuguese. It is based on the pharmacopoeia of London, Paris, Edinburgh, as well as those by Fuller, Midero, etc.
