Collection of archival material from the 17th to the 19th century, relating to the Dutch East India Company (VOC), the Dutch East Indies, and numismatics. Most of the documents are manuscripts, but some printed material is also included, all documents are in Dutch. The documents concern a wide variety of subjects relating to the VOC, including the policy of the VOC, number of captured ships by the English, insurance, payment of ships crews, recruiting of sailors, chartering of ships, Württemberg Cape Regiment, decline of the VOC and possible countermeasures, the Mint in the Dutch East Indies, and more.
