[MANUSCRIPT - DUTCH]. [Journals of four summer trips (1) along the Rhine, (2) to Brabant and Flandres, (3) to Paris and (4) to the waters at Aachen and Spa, written in Dutch by an anonymous traveller from Amsterdam during the consecutive years 1804-1807].
[Amsterdam, 1804-1807]. Folio. With 40 circular aquatints, executed in wash manner, most printed in colour. 14 of the roundels retain their printed captions, while 12 are without captions, all have been cut from the original sheets and trimmed to their circular outlines. The manuscript contains 14 hand-coloured engraved plates, 10 depict the interiors of Parisian theatres, and 2 show their foyers. Contemporary red morocco. 159 ll. Full description

[Northern Germany(?), 15th century]. 8vo. Written in Latin on relatively thin parchment (leaf 11.5 x 8.5 cm, text block 7.8 x 5.2 cm), in a gothic hand in one column of 17 lines per page using black/dark brown ink. The manuscript is rubricated throughout, with a 3-line red and blue initial at the start of each part, and 2- or 1-line lombards, alternating in red and blue, at the start of each smaller section, ruled in pencil. Early 19th-century(?) gold-tooled vellum showing a gold-tooled floral frame on both boards, with a leather closing tie on the front, gold-tooled board eges, gilt edges. [131] ll. Full description
